Katherine is an ESSA accredited Exercise Physiologist and co-founder of Colab Health Group. In 2011, Katherine graduated from a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University and went on to complete her Masters of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at Victoria University in 2015. She has been working in her field for over 8 years.
Katherine is a passionate believer that no two bodies are the same and that each individual is their own athlete, with their own purpose and goals in what they desire to achieve. She ensures all aspects of her client’s healthcare are vastly considered during the assessment, design and implementation phases of exercise prescription. She also places great emphasis on completing detailed reviews of client outcomes and provides a well thought out elevation of their progress towards achieving their goals.
Katherine’s style of work involves utilising movement assessment technologies, functional strength training and Pilates concepts. Katherine enjoys working with a variety of health conditions with people of all ages and abilities. She has particular interest in the treatment of lower limb, chronic spinal pains and pre and post operative rehabilitation. She also enjoys helping clients from specific patient populations including those with cardiovascular conditions, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, those at risk of falls and childhood and adolescent development.
Away from work, Katherine loves to follow the tennis (ATP and WTA) tours throughout the year, AFL and Soccer both nationally and internationally, as well as travelling, fishing, dancing and enjoying a ‘real’ coffee.
